In which IB division, a recently ACA qualified, fits best?

  • I think that your best starting point would be in the Finance function / division of an investment bank. This will give you exposure to all elements of accounting in banking, but also give you an opportunity to see if there are other roles that you could do in other divisions. Accountancy skills are always needed in many diffrent areas of investment banking including operations, middle office and front office business management roles. Good luck.
