What is the recommendation for experienced technology professionals (+MBA Fin & Strat) switching career to PE?

I have strong technology & consulting experience and want to move into Clean energy Private Equity / Emerging markets.Im specrializing in Finance and Strategey from a top Business school.what is the suggestion/ advice
