  • Its not hugely thought of, mainly due to the fact it is actually run in association with Heriot Watt (they call it Edinburgh Bus School) so that knocks it down a peg or two. Having said that it is cheap compared to the big named schools down south and you can study for it part time over a number of years.

  • My Friend, it`s not done in conjunction with Heriot Watt, but at the University of Edinburgh Business School which is a complete different and more reputable entity than Heriot Watt`s Edinburgh Business School. And to answer the question; a degree from Edinburgh is very well respected in the asset managenent industry.

  • Well done I. Stewart how v prescient of you. Yes It is THE 1 stain on my CV a Hull MBA...HA HA HA!!! But now back to the real world and here's a tip for free. Is an Edinburgh MBA any good...NO. If you want to obtain employment at GS or any top HF or PE fund then you have NO Chance through their grad programme. Obviously if your happy with a back office role in a sleepy backwater, proceed with Edinburgh...Toodlepip!!
